A. Donald Steinman, III combines thoughtful leadership with a passion for turning new ideas into practical solutions. Since joining Product Knowledge in 2015 as Executive Vice President, Don has guided the company’s product strategy, planning, and execution. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, he ensures the company delivers innovative and reliable solutions to its clients while ensuring that the company’s core value of serving the Warfighter first permeates every initiative.

Don’s ability to create results has earned him recognition as a leader who values simplicity and clear priorities. His experience spans organizations of all sizes, allowing him to meet the unique needs of Product Knowledge’s clients.

In addition to his work with Product Knowledge, Don serves as Chairman of the Board for Axnes, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences. His work across industries reflects his dedication to innovation and collaboration.

Before joining Product Knowledge, Don served as Vice President for Product Strategy and Business Development at QinetiQ North America, where he oversaw nearly all the company’s product offerings and strengthened relationships with leaders in Congress, the Pentagon, and the Department of Defense. Earlier in his career, he directed NASA’s Northeast Technology Transfer Center and consulted for companies like Nike and Converse, helping them integrate advanced technology into their products.

Originally from Rhode Island, Don is an avid boater with a love for sailing. He spends his free time on the water or enjoying life with his wife Stacey and their three adult children—Samantha, Sydney, and Charlie.

Don earned degrees in Political Science and History from Emory University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
